    In collaboration with "Les Portes de L'Inde" & "Georges-Labit Museum", Indian Community Toulouse is celebrating IYD 2022 at the Park of Georges Labit Museum. It is free for all participants. Yoga teachers from around toulouse join hands together to teach you various Yoga forms that will help you to keep fit and healthy.

    Dusshera Utsav

    The event on 25th October added colours (online) to our restricted lives. The theme of the event was to introduce the festivals celebrated in India in the month of October namely Durga Pooja, Navaratri and more.

    The event started with welcome song by Usha Dondeti followed by a presentation of celebration of festivals in different parts of India. Sagar added melodious colors with an amazing flute performance of classical style and Game of Thrones music. This was followed by Harleen adding colors to our houses by origami workshop. Akshay helped us chant the devi mantra and conducted an interactive game engaging the audience in fb as well. The program ended with dance performance by Harshith and dandiya tutoring by Divya. The event was engaging (participants' word!) adding colors to different aspects of our lives and making us feel closer to home!

    On the occasion of 74th Indian Independence Day and also the festival months of Onam and Ganesh Chaturthi, ICT plans to organise competitions (upto Aug 12) and a online event on Saturday, August 15. Tune on to our Facebook page for participating in this event.

    The online events will be followed by a Onam special lunch at Garam Masala restaurant (10 Rue Maletache, 31000 Toulouse) on August 15.

    International Day of Yoga 2020

    Prairie des filtres

    ICT participated in the International Day of Yoga (IDY 2020) on June 21, 2020 on the theme Yoga for All. The participants performed yoga at Prairie des filtres park in accordance with the Common Yoga Protocol Inspired by AYUSH Ministry, India. The participants were guided by ICT volunteers Ravi and Thara who are regular practitioners as well as certified teachers.

    ICT takes great pleasure in cordially inviting all Indian community members for an animated gathering ‘Meet and Greet’ with our Indian Embassy officials at 6:00pm on November 22, 2019, at Esquirol Toulouse. The purpose of this event is to present to the Embassy officials that we are a large Indian community, who deserve the recognition and express the need of a regular consular service in Toulouse.

    This is an opportunity to all of us where we can meet other Indian community members, make contacts, friends, etc. Hence, kindly make your presence and let the gathering a special one for everyone. We are also pleased to partner with the Indian restaurant ‘Indianwala' & 'Cheema’ and cultural association ‘Bani-Thani’ for organizing this gathering.
